Mikropedia: New Brand of Gut Microbiome Tests

Corollab has entrusted us with an important task—to help them develop a new company that will provide gut microbiome testing to the general public. We embarked on a complex journey from naming through e-shop creation to the successful launch of the campaign.

"The client decided to expand their business focus from B2B to B2C. However, gut microbiome testing remains quite expensive. Our challenge was to develop a product and marketing strategy that resonated with customers despite the higher price point. We knew we needed to focus on educating about the microbiome itself while providing an excellent buying experience with the best added value." – Adriana Školníková, Project Manager

Solution

The first step was brand creation, which included naming, visual identity, and communication strategy (claim, tone of voice, content creation plan). We chose the name Mikropedia to reflect the brand's educational mission.

We then tackled building the e-commerce site while simultaneously shaping the final product (including packaging design, print materials, and administrative background). Concurrently, we prepared content—blogs and a glossary—to help users understand the importance of knowing their gut microbiome before making a purchase.

To create additional value, we included a testing option followed by an online consultation with a doctor and personalized tips from a nutritionist.

With the product and e-shop ready, we moved on to the next phase: the marketing campaign.
